Inspired by coffee

Peak Water was born from the idea of taking everyday tap water and brewing exceptional coffee with it. For many developing coffee-growing communities, clean drinking water isn’t a part of everyday life.

Project Waterfall is a charity created to give back to these communities by providing clean drinking water and sanitation. Access to clean water is the first step in breaking the poverty cycle — it improves health and well-being and gives families a gateway to better lives.

A portion of every Peak Water jug sold, directly supports Project Waterfall’s efforts in Ethiopia — one of coffee’s most vibrant and celebrated origins.

Water for coffee communities

Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in the world where 62 million people lack access to clean water. The specific project that we are supporting will bring clean drinking water and sanitation to some of the most affected communities in the coffee growing Jabi Tehnan Woreda district.

Jabi Tehnan Woreda, in the Amhara region of Ethiopia, has one of the lowest levels of clean water, sanitation and hygiene practices in the area. Only 67% of the population have access to water and 50% have access to sanitation.

Helping 10,622 people gain access to clean drinking water and giving 21,234 people access to improved sanitation & hygiene. If you'd like to make a donation, please visit the Project Waterfall website.
